white for peace and love

Dear lovelies,
I am back from my two week job-related trips. Finally I can resume my blogging activities. But just a day after I came back to the capital, a sad and upsetting thing happened

Last Friday morning a tragic event happened in my beloved country. Two bombs blasted at two hotels that were located close to each other. It claimed 9 lives and injured many. I know that it wasn't the first time a bomb exploded in my country. But for more than five years, this kind of tragic event never happened again. I thought, well, many thought that those dark days were behind us. We were wrong, because it once again happened and shattered the lives of many. I was sooo upset and could not comprehend how people could bear such hatred in their heart that enabled them to do such an evil thing. I don't know what message they wanted to deliver, but one thing for certain, the violent way they picked was not and will not be an effective one. They might have thought that they did it for a good cause, but what kind of good cause could justify the lost of lives and the peace of a nation? None! I hope that the people will not be affected by the fear they tried to spread. Because if we are affected, then they win. And we don't want that to happen.

So, in light with the tragic happening, I chose to wear white this weekend. White as the symbol of love and peace.

These photos were taken on my way to see Harry Potter this afternoon. Although it was pretty good but I didn't think it was as good as the last one(s). The story and conflicts were good but I was expecting more actions. Oh well... But it was still entertaining nonetheless.
